I have not seen that in ILADS guidelines.

I doubt if it's true because one of the most experienced LLMD's - Dr. J. in Washington, DC will treat Babesia before bartonella.

I do testing by a test called lymespot every two months and also check nk cells and cd57. Protocol seems to change based on this since I've seen no improvement.

The protocol with Rifampin - You should have stayed on it for more than a month or two IMO.

Bartonella can take a lot longer to see improvements with treatment.

So your dosage is probably low as well. Maybe that's our problem?
In your first protocol, did you take 600mg Rifampin daily or less? Im asking because everywhere i see people take Rifampin 300 2x daily.

It depends on the Dr. Some prescribe it as 300 twice daily...others' do 600 once daily.

If you arent underweighted thats strange dosage.
I really hope dosage is our problem with no response, not having some other unknown illness..
