I am allergic to pretty much every other antibiotic
Sorry but this is a false statement. There are so many antibiotics out there, from so many different class types, you simply CANNOT be allergic to all of them. Even so for people with say, life threatening allergic reactions to antibiotics, there is a Desensitization technique that can be used in hospitals to get you "unalergic" to them.
/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3242422/I wish you well and quick recovery. But the truth is with amoxicillin alone chances are you will not get fully well. It is a weak antibiotic, even in hi doses it does not reach the brain in adequate amounts. It also gets excreted quite fast, has a short half life. And it does not help with coinfections like Batonella, which you almost certainly have. Not to mention Babesia.
As Girlie mentioned, you need at least one more antibiotic to be added, ideally one with good brain penetration. Are you REALLY sure you are allergic to "all antibiotics" ? This is not something to take lightly, the more you stay with this bacteria in your body, the higher the chances for you to develop possibly irreversible autoimmune conditions and damage to sensitive tissues that may not self-recover, like the eye, brain, heart. So it is best to aim high, go aggressive, and try to get it under control. This usually involves antibiotics, at least 2 of them, and of the right type.
