RedLabel - Yes, I am living in Norway, and have struggled to get help here. I am headed to Houston for the holidays, so was hoping to visit an LLMD when I am back and get some clarity. I have a referral from another person in the Norway Lyme community for a GP here in Stavanger who supposedly is OK for Lyme, but I've been monitoring his patient list for the past few months and it is always been full. Would you be willing to share in the info of your doctor in Germany? Also - Are you using any herbal supplements? I am able to find some of what I want here in Norway, but not everything recommended in the popular protocols...

I'm using herbal supplements from a daughter company of the clinic that I get together with the antibiotics.

I have started to use a liquid probiotic called "probioform" instead of capsules. This is bought in health stores i Norway.

B-vitamins, D-vitamins, selenium, glutathione and other stuff is from the clinic. Not easy to get in Norway, and the doses are rediculously low.

Are your IgM+/IgG- tests the regulat ELISA performed in Norway?

The IgM+/IgG- results were from blood tests from my MD in Norway, included as part of a larger blood test panel. He has never referred to them specifically as an ELISA test, so I am unsure if that is what they are. There is one line item for each IgM and IgG, that reads something like: "IgM Anti-Borrelia", followed by a number for my measurement, then a reference range for the threshold of what is considered "positive." These IgM/IgG results are just 2 lines in the middle of lab results for everything else: vitamin tests, allergy tests, c. pneumoniae, mycoplasma, EBV, etc.

Do these sound like ELISA?

S-Anti-Borrelia-IgG (and one for IgM)

both negative so no help there

Ok, thanks. Yes, that is the same thing that mine says (don't have it in front of me, so couldn't remember exactly!). So your ELISA was negative, but you continued investigating because of symptoms? Was the German clinic where you were able to finally get a diagnosis and test for the co-infections listed in your signature? Are they prescribing abx and helping to recommend your supplements/herbs?

I ordered an appointment at the German clinic since they said on their homepage that they treat multi systemic infectious diseases, which i was sure to have some sort of. I just went down there and took blood tests and got a clinical evaluation as well. You can also order a blood test kit and ship it to them. i have done this two times during treatment, and it works good.

I got weak positive on LTT (ELISPOT) test for borrelia and chlamydia pneumonia. i had positive anitbodies for yersinia enterocolitica and coxsackie virus. also positive elispot for cytomegalovirus.

They are prescribing abx yes. You can bring it with you on the plane to Norway, but they can't ship it by mail since Norway is not in the EU.

They help with supplements as well yes. Provide a plan for these to go along with abx

what kind of numbers did you get on your borrelia test in norway? mine only says below range and negative. Did you get the numbers?
