What KILLS Lyme Bacteria?

Lots of things kill Lyme. In fact, Lyme is highly susceptible to generic antibiotics. Problem is, most antibiotics don't really kill dormant cells and biofilm. Only actively dividing cells. So yes Lyme is dying when you herx, that doesn't mean all of it is dying. Herbs have been shown to destroy a lot of biofilm, but they've been poorly investigated for Lyme biofilm. So far oregano oil, chinese skullcap and stevia have all been shown to kill Lyme biofilm. But that doesn't mean they do so effectively in the human body and I haven't really heard any raving reviews on them. It's really just a matter of experimentation at this point.

Many antibiotics kill Lyme. However, there doesn't seem to be any antibiotics that can kill all of the bacteria, including persisters than Psilo mentioned.

So when someone says "nothing kills Lyme", it depends on whether they're talking about a single bacteria, or the entire infection.
