minocycline and ceftoxime ??drug interaction???

I have been taking this and couldnt walk was really shaky and blurred vision? anybody else have this.

Girlie . thanks for answering . I have gotten where I couldn't see and had to have help walking .Also had a hard time talking and fosusing .Could that be herxing ??? Of course why is it you pay these DR. BIG DOLLAR and the dont return your can . I told them That I have nobody to ask questions too. But as long as they get there money they seem pretty happy. BUT DONT ASK ANY QUESTIONS !!!!!!! which is BS if you ask me .

also , if it's really bad, then take a day off the abx and let things settle down...or maybe two days...

at least some of these symptoms sound like a conditoin known as Intracranial Hypertension, a known side effect of minocycline

tell your doctor you want to be screened for the well known side effect of mino called Intracranial Hypertension. the blurred vision is almost a dead giveaway.

Not necessarily - eye issues are not an uncommon symptom of LD

right but it sounds like this started right after she took the mino.

Lapis - can it be checked out without a lumbar puncture?

Thing is - lyme can cause the intracranial hypertension - so even confirming that's what it is - it doesn't necessarily point to mino - could be a herx from treating.

That defines a herx though - the side effects lists often have many Lyme symptoms - difficult to know sometimes .

I’d say a herx is worsening of an existing symptom. Usually not a totally new symptom (that is listed as side effect). I feel like we should not always assume it is a herx.

A herx can also be new symptoms appearing. This happens to many (most?) of us.
