Hey there!
When I first started having major symptoms in 2009, various skin symptoms were prominent. I felt like I had heat trapped in my skin. Felt like a sunburn except it felt like the heat was moving from the inside of my tissue out through my skin instead of from the surface of my skin inward. My face, chest, and back were affected. It was late fall, and that whole winter I couldn't stand to wear long sleeves. Just the thought of wearing a turtleneck or pullover sweater made me feel like I would break out in hives or have a panic attack.
I've had other bouts of skin sensitivity, too, that didn't involve heat. I agree with the others. I believe Bartonella is what causes this. Bartonella is well known for causing all manner of skin phenomena.
