Dear fellow Lyme forum members:

For those of you who saw the brief conversation the mods here had with site administration before it was deleted, you're aware that we have been requesting for updated Moderator status for those of us who long ago were asked by Traveler and Girlie to moderate (it's been over two years for me). These requests have gone ignored.

These issues have devolved into a lot of unnecessary, time-consuming drama that prevent me from spending what little time I have to post help and support for others. Please feel free to email me!

I'm moving on, regrettably. I will miss you all.

P - because we communicate off forum - you already know my feelings about you leaving.

While I really really don't want you to go - I do understand your reason(s) but that doesn't make it any easier for me to say goodbye, my friend.

I miss you already.

Pirouette- remember some times we change our minds. You can still be here on occasion and help when "that post arises" without being a mod. One can "let go" without leaving forever (you would/will be missed by many).

Whats all this about? Behind the scenes:

After my limited "dabble" in that deleted "mod" wars post a few days ago, it changed my whole view point of the behind the scenes "going-ons" here at HW.

Unneeded drama and ego filled actions from higher ups of other areas of HW is a pure waste of time. These weren't members of this lyme forum, but mods from other boards here being nosy/bossy 'cause they're on an ego trip with nothing else to do. From what I've been told, this has been the norm. Not unlike what goes on in a dysfunctional company. Unfortunately "paid boss" or "volunteer boss", "leader" "mod" ect -titles can both equally attract the control freaks among us.

I stated my view in that post (backing Pirouette) since I have the cajunes to say it. And they (the "intruders", people others here dont really know) did not like it very much to say the least (thus it was deleted that afternoon a few days ago).

I've never really been part of the welcome wagon here LOL. But I'm not permanently going away soon unless I'm banned by administration for saying the truth. I received a lot of help here when I needed it, and its still prob the most used lyme board around, its laid out well too. I still learn from this place too, and like the more in depth posts. But....as far as being an "official" mod here in the future..... not so sure anymore and doubt they'd want me to after speaking my mind online (+ saw the ugly side)..

The mods here on THIS lyme forum, past and present, have all been very helpful people.

That said, there are many questions from newbies that go unanswered here. A simple bump up helps to know they aren't being ignored. Anyone can do this. Our one "official" mod , "Girlie", can not be expected to be looking here all the time.

This Lyme forum has been run so well thanks to the generous contributions of our moderators. I have no idea what runs behind the scenes but losing you is a catastrophe for all of us. I'm barely here, but I feel like I've noticed a couple of the older faces' faded presence on the forum. Traveler, of course, but she's not the only one.

The energy is not as bright. But, maybe it's just me?

Piro **** admin ....you are a genius amoung our lyme brains ...and some bs can keep 7s from our purpose. ..u r a writer plain as day a literary loco a vernacular venus ,a eloquent seemstress of relating complex concepts and tx to brain fogged laymen. It a true gift ....maybe our wisdom will be copiled when you take me up on penning the definitive guide +glossary/ manuel for lyme tx and other msids ....luv u piro thanks always

I'm always sorry to see anyone leave, and you have contributed an abundance of support. I was once a moderator at a forum (completely unrelated) and left for similar reasons. Sometimes, it is just time to move on, but sometimes you get pushed out early. And then when I was asked to moderate on another forum (also unrelated), I declined because there is enough drama in just posting. So many personalities and manners. So perhaps you can find a way to participate that works for you is what I'm trying to say!

Well that sucks, you were really nice and helpful to me, and all of us. I might have just joined but I could really tell how helpful and nice you are. Drama is so frustrating.
