Hello,

In your opinion, does this look like a strong positive Lyme test?

B. burgdorferi IFA – G/M/A Results: 80
IGM: 31+ and 41+
IGG: 34+, 39+ and 41+++
B. duncani IFA - IGG Result: 80
B. Henselae IFA - IGG Result: 40

I tested via IGenex. How accurate is IGenex? And what type of treatment has worked best for you? I don't feel too comfortable taking antibiotics longterm.

Did you get an IND test result for the IgM? You can pay $100 for an Epitope test for band 31. This is to rule out cross-reactivity with other 'stuff' - EBV being one of them. If they can rule the others' out, it changes the IgM test result from a IND to a Positive.

The IgG should be Igenex Positive - it should say that on the results sheet.


So, yes it's a positive result.

Igenex specializes in tick-borne disease testing...and is one of the best facilities to use.
There are many false negatives...so you are fortunate that you did get a positive result.

I am doing antibiotics currently. I did do herbals for several months, and plan to add them back in when I wean off the abx.

If you would like to do herbal treatment instead of ABX Stephen Buhner's book"Healing Lyme" 2nd edition is an excellent resource.

Also "Unlocking Lyme" by Dr William Rawls is helpful too.

Many of us use herbals. I am currently on all herbal treatment now.

I did herbs and healed. I did Beyond Balance and Buhner's core protocol.

I want to get started on Stephen Buhner's protocol (http://buhnerhealinglyme.com) but there's just so much info and I have no idea where to get most of these herbs and supplements. It would be wonderful if someone can kindly walk me through it. Please let me know if you have a moment to talk? Thank you so very much!

Or please post here on the forum. I am interested in getting started on herbs to supplement my antibiotics. I would like to see members responses to this question.

I am working my way through "Unlocking Lyme" by Rawls. I plan on reading Buhners books next, but wondering if I should go ahead and start a couple herbs now?

Oh yeah in my opinion LAdy 89 that is a positive test result
