I am in search of an LLMD in the Austin area, if you guys can please help me. Thank you!

Shonna, as goshawk mentioned, there is the Texas Lyme Support Group on Facebook that has had quite a few discussions about the different LLMDs here in Texas. There is one in Marble Falls and two in Austin. There is also a naturopath in Austin who is very knowledgeable about Lyme and cos (she studied with Dr. K and has successfully battled Lyme herself) and refers out to the LLMDs when necessary. From everything I've heard, the best LLMD in Texas is in Denton. Depending on how complicated your case is, you may want to go straight to him. Feel free to email me for more info.

Also, a great resource is the Texas Lyme Disease Association. They were the first people I contacted when I suspected Lyme. A volunteer called me within a day and talked to me for over an hour answering questions, giving me doctor info and sharing her story. They followed up with email and another phone call. They gave me a great foundation for starting my fight.
