Merry Christmas to everyone🎄
Hope you all find some way to remember the meaning of the holiday and enjoy the festivities and time with family and friends as much as you are able.
For those who are too sick or weak to participate in activities, I hope you will have some quality time for rest and peace and hopeful reflection.
For those who are suffering the awful mental and emotional symptoms that can accompany Lyme and coinfections, please believe that there will be better days and that there is hope.
Last Christmas was the first time I had thoughts of wanting to die. I never thought that would happen to me, but it did. My brain and body were overwhelmed with toxins, and I felt like running off screaming into the woods to die. I'm still here. Those thoughts have returned numerous times over the past year, and I'm sure they're not behind me yet. Each time they come, I think back and make myself remember that those awful symptoms passed and better days followed. My progress (if I can even call it that) has certainly not been steady uphill. Much of the time I feel like I'm walking through a dark valley and get occasional bursts of light - just enough to keep me going. Don't give up. Reach out to the wonderful and understanding members of this forum and consider that there is nothing impossible with God.
God bless you all,
Walking by Faith

Thank you WalkingbyFaith.
I hope this year proves to be a healing one for you...and of course for all of us who are struggling to stay afloat.
2018 is our year.

There are reasons for all things, even ones that we can not begin to comprehend. We will get there. Prayers of healing for all the dear people on this board.
Thank you for your encouraging words.
