Anyone get the flu?

I had out of town visitors over the New Year who mentioned they didn't feel well.

Within 2 days, my husband started with symptoms. Mostly respiratory, cough, phlegm, headache, etc.

From what I've read, most with an active infection, display no symptoms.

I, certainly, with the way I've been feeling, did not think my infection would be consided inactive. BUT, didn't I proceed to have the same symptoms as all others affected. My only difference with me is my temperature, which is normally 97.2ish, is now hovering around 98.8.

Good news? Who knows.

Anyone else get it? It's a miserable bug!

I'm usually in the 97s and the past couple days have been around 100 and now have infuenza a.

I also wonder about the fever-I haven't had one in years and would guess its a good thing-my immune system is doing something

I really felt near death but dragged myself in for a ten pass ozone this afternoon and I do believe I am half better. Will see tomorrow.

I've been sick, but I'm pretty sure it's not the flu. I think I'd feel much sicker if it was. Mine started almost a month ago as what I thought was a cold with a bad, productive cough. After about 10 days and thinking I was getting better, I started feeling worse and felt like I had a low grade fever. That's been a repeating pattern now for about 2 weeks. I went to the ENT, and he figured I had a secondary bacterial infection and prescribed an antibiotic. At the doctor's office, my temp was 97 even though I felt like it was around 99. I can't remember the last time my temp registered above normal on a thermometer.

Well I actually just took my temp ( Sunday to Wed its been between 99 and 101-on aspirin)

Tonight- 98.4 without aspirin=maybe the 10 pass helped

Thanks-just part of the challenge. Hopefully the worst part!
I still don't feel good but better-one more ten pass tomorrow.

I had it for a few days, and it involved into a bad cold. Initially I had fever, chills, aches, dizziness, headache, fatigue. Then really bad congestion. I used a neti pot and that helped relieve the congestion. My kids were sick just before so I know I got it from them and it wasn't from lyme, though I wonder if lyme made some of the symptoms worse.

Did you get the flu on top of this too? Or is it all still related? Yes, that was me. I think they are unrelated, however there are 2 bugs going around. So maybe that was A bug also, my gut has many issues, frequently.

Right now, the sinus congestion is through the roof. My temp is fluctuating between 98 and 103.

Wow - you've really had a rough go. I'm super sorry.

Thank you so much for your concern. Now wondering if I didn't pick up bug in hospital.

Well if anyone get the flu this year I would find some ozone. Fever and body aches 100% gone today-it took one treatment but I did an extra one today. I am amazed how quick ten pass ozone worked on influenza a.
PS its a bad strain this year-really a miserable experience-steer clear of sick people if you can

I know it's lyme and co and not the cold or flu when I get symptoms MINUS mucus and no sneezing.

That's how I can tell the difference. The real flu is sneezing and blowing of the nose.

good tip. I'm sneezing and nose blowing. plus I'm surrounded by thoughtless people. with same symptoms. If i wasn't so sick, I'd lol.

temp is 102.5. My normal is 97.2
