Thank you!!
Are you going to ask for another PA, Dahlias?
I think I'm going to ask for either KF or KL.
I was just looking into the flights - and there's more than one airport... which one should I be flying into?
Which is the closest to where I'm going?
I'm sorry, I just saw this. I see PeppermintTea shared the clinic's information on airports. I would plan on doubling the travel times to be safe. They seem a little ... optimistic. Lol. Avoid traveling during rush hour, and if you do, add even more time. Traffic here is among the worst in the country, and morning rush hour starts at about
5 a.m.
I just had my second appointment with TB yesterday and it went well. I feel like she is much more flexible now than she was in October. I admitted that I didn't and won't take the Flagyl, and she suggested GSE (after not offering any alternative when I asked before). And I also said that with my history of allergies, I don't start two new medicines on the same day, and she offered suggestions on that as well, after staying firm on the schedule last time. I feel that she is knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate, and now she is more experienced.
I took my sons with me to turn the appointment into a day trip in D.C. and we had a wonderful time. (Well, it was mostly for the little one -- I took the teenager to be my safety net, but he had a good time too.) We took the Metro from the office to the National Mall and went to the Air and Space Museum. It is tiring, but I paced myself and I am thrilled that we managed it.
