My LLMD and I have recently suspected parasites so we have begun a parasite cleanse a few days ago with wormwood, clove, and black walnut which i take all at once in the morning each day.

Since beginning this I have noticed that when I am going to sleep at night I doze off and then quickly wake up in a sort of bran fog/confusion and am slightly dizzy. This happens for an hour or so. Besides this I have no other side effects/die off symptoms.

So I am wondering is this more likely to be a side effect or a die off reaction. I am leaning towards die off reaction due to the fact that I have heard that parasites are more active at night. Also I take the herbs in the morning around 8 am and sleep around 10 pm so if it was a side effect I would think that it would affect me closer to dosing. Please let me know what you guys think or if anyone has experienced something similar!!!

I don't know about the parasite cleanse at all.

However, with lyme I had nightmares like crazy. I would wake up yelling and scare the heck out of my husband. Extreme panic and definitely disoriented.

If you feel it is a die off, those are toxins and you might want to up your detox regime by adding in some more detoxing methods.

Wormwood is artemesia annua, which also treats Babesia - so you may be having some die off from that.

I get die off from pretty much anything I take. Parasite herbs, lyme herbs, enzymes...you name it. Anywhere from ten minutes to many hours later. For sure can be die off.

Sounds like a die off. Either way its good to treat parasites kill them off and you will be healthier

If it were to be die off from babesia what should I look out for?

Is a babesia herx similar to classic symptoms of babesia (day sweats, night sweats, air hunger, chills, fever, cough, etc.)?

Yes, if you have die off from one infection - say Babesia - then your symptoms from a Babesia herx would produce more Babesia symptoms (usually). I have seen in others, as well as having experienced myself, where something more broad spectrum that I was taking created a herx with symptoms from several infections though.

You want to kick the parasites in the teeth? Go with Alinia or Ivermectin. They have very little chance against these parasite 'napalm' drugs. Babesia can hold up a while against these and won't ultimately clear it for most but general parasites/worms can't get much better.
