This is a short write up on Ron who beat ALS. He also wrote a book and I cant seem to remember the name of it. He is a great guy-he even put his email address in his book.
You Can always call Dr Y s office and get the name.

So I had a consult with the dentist (doesn't brand as holistic) that my LLMD suggested - he suggested extracting the large metal amalgam (duh!) and seeing how I feel. After that can reconsider the root canal; he doesn't like the idea of extraction but prefers the idea of removing the crown and cleaning everything up to make sure the root canal is sealed and done well. Note that this dentist did not have a chelation protocol or any advice to offer in regards to that.

I am having a second opinion next week at a holistic dentist and will see what he says.

So, you will have a white composite in place of the amalgam?
Or is the entire tooth being extracted?


A holistic dentist won't be offering a root canal.

Hey Girlie,

White composite to replace the metal filling. The root canal I'm referencing is an existing root canal and I am obtaining advice on what I should do with it ie. remove tooth, reinspect/retreat the canal.

The dentist showed me photos around the amalgam and it was VERY purple, which he advised indicates an intolerance rather than infection which could POSSIBLY relate or at least contribute to my health issues.

Okay - replacing amalgam. Did you ask about his procedure removing the amalgam?
I had one replaced last summer at a 'regular' dentist and had the dental dam (I think that is standard now) but no oxygen was provided - there was water being sprayed on the amalgam so it wouldn't heat up.

I also swallowed some activated charcoal to try to coat my upper GI tract prior to the procedure- not sure if it did anything.

I didn't feel better or worse in the weeks/months following the procedure.

My amalgam is HUGE and the entire area is inflamed around it. I didn't even notice and I've never felt any pain there, the colour is so different to the other side.

So the Mercury amalgam is touching the gums? Mine was just inside the molar, but still a good amount of tooth around it and no amalgam touching the gum.

I've read that biol dentist will give you nasal oxygen while they are removing the amalgam...to prevent you breathing in the fumes.
