YBX3 rs2305849 Involved in Lyme disease?! Does anyone understand what this means?

Hi,
I came across something that said gene YBX3 is involved in Lyme disease. Umm.. ok not sure what this means but I decide to put the gene into my livewello sandbox and sure enough there are two rs numbers that show up and mine are both homozygous! It also says on livewello that it means I am antibiotic resistant. Anyone else heard of this??!

I am not getting much better, I wonder if this could be why.

I went into gene research mode and lost time. Just made a blue quick link.

Did not find much more info on this one. Must be newly found.

I did mine with Sterling app (about 300 genes), two years ago, and rs2418103 YBX3 is not even listed.

What heading was it under in your livewello report?

Also, I recently did speak to a genetics person in regards to patterns seen in those with chronic lyme. I have all the usual issues - glutamate, iron, not able to clear hydrogen peroxide. He also mentioned he sees a pattern with those who have ATG13 gene - basically said these are the people who have a hard time digging out of a hole. I am heterozygous on all 6 of the SNP's for that gene. May be worth looking at too. I can list SNP's if you are interested.

I only have two with values.

rs2305849 TT
rs2418103 GG

I will go check the other gene.

Might be good to look for the notation on what lab proved this. Then goggle the lab for more info.
