Promised myself id post if i got better

Well I told myself if I ever got better I would pay it forward to others on here with a success story as so many were helpful,knowledgeable,and just so understanding.Just some background on me as ive been off the forum for awhile I was cdc positive for lyme but neg.for co infections and I started treatment 1/5/17 but was infected in 6/16 and how know idea what I had.i had joint pain,anxiety,at night my vision was blurry from on coming lights just to name a few symptoms.Well I am happy to say I am 3 months symptom free and off abx and feel "normal me again".I still have the thought in the back of my head if I get a ache like oh crap but its just normal wear and tare and that's slowly fading also as I continue symptom free over time.I never thought id get through this or be my old self again but I am and I wish the best for everyone on here.Thanks so much for helping me when I needed it most I will never forget this forum also my first forum ever and ill stop in on occasion.

Music to our ears! I think we all need to hear about the success stories. Chronic illness prompts much doubt as to when all the hurting and stress of the long battle will end. Your accomplishment and healing are encouraging. Thank you for the great news.

Can you post a little more detail on what got you better?

It was about 9-12 months of treatment right?

Did you only do antibiotics? Did your doctor do mono therapy or combination therapy? Pulsed or standard regimens?

I just did what my doc said to I started with doxy alone first with a multi vit vit d&b12 and a 50 billion probiotic and each month she would add some abx to it like doxy cepron then cepron mono then mono arithamician etc.I will be honest I didn't diet great I tried to eat less sugar but I cheated,i didn't really exercise per say just my regular activities which work raising a family swimming etc but nothing big.I put in my mind I wouldn't let this stop me from things I enjoy and when I got real tired I would sleep like 12hrs on my day off but I had no real plan. I just starting feeling better and better as time went on and like the fog lifted I would say that like july august I think I just had a few things lingering and they faded also in time.I wish I did some great treatment I could tell you guys about but I didn't it just took time.Hope this helps alittle
