As some of you already know...I will be traveling to Dr. J's clinic in a few days. I have decided to leave my iPad at home...so I'm not going to be posting much...if at all.

goshawk and astroman have been pitching in regularly the past several months - even though they have not been 'blessed' with the official Mod status. (Thank you both!)
I have asked Traveler if she could help out for the time I'm gone - due to how busy it can be at times.

But there will be times when they are not on the forum.


Please take a few minutes to welcome new members here, and bump threads to the top if they don't have any responses.

YAY!!! Your appointment is finally here!!! I wish you the very best of luck on the trip and with Dr. J!! You have a lot to fill us in on when you return!! LOL! We will want to know how your trip went and how the appt went!!!

I'm usually on the most during the mornings and afternoons - but if anyone has questions or needs help, please do email me!!

Thanks guys!

I’m sitting at the second airport now - our two hour wait here has turned into three hours due to a delay.

I just happen to be having a bad day today - pain, acid reflux .. bit of nausea .
Good grief - we’ve only just started the trip!

Oh no!! Well, hopefully that's just part of the 'jitters' about the trip for you and it all settles down as soon as you are boarding the plane. Fingers crossed!!

Girlie - hope the appointment goes really well and that this is the added boost to help finally get you over the top! While you were stuck in airports yesterday so was I, as I was flying back from seeing Dr T and had some major delays.

Thank you all for your support!

Just a quick note - my appt yesterday was very thorough - my husband and I are both impressed with the clinic. My appt was from 12:15 to about 4:30.
I never once felt rushed

KL is amazing - she had quickly reviewed my two inch thick stack of information from my previous 4 years (since my symptoms started) prior to seeing me and had a good grasp of my issues !! Don’t know how she remembers everything - obviously doesn’t have Lyme. smile

Unfortunately she is leaving and I will be switching to someone else.

I did not talk to Dr J - I may request to see him in the near future - I felt very well taken care of with KL.

At this point - my only regret - is not going a couple years ago.

I know this doesn’t translate into guaranteed remission, but I have renewed hope and optimism now.

... and Washington is BEAUTIFUL!

My husband (who doesn’t like travelling) is impressed!

We didn’t really have time to see much, but are looking forward to coming back and seeing the sights.
