Traveler, the reason you still have high EBV ab, regardless of how you feel now after treatment, is that EBV might lead to cancer and what not, and EBV also has been linked with MS and what not, the point is that judging by Lyme experts like doctor Horowitz and Klinghardt, viruses maybe play a role, but they play the role when lyme and co's destroy the immune system. So treating viruses, which aren't the root cause, especially with the bad existing meds for them, antiviruses, which aren't like anti-retroviruses, that are actually effective, is not going to make a huge difference, if at all. This isn't my made up theory, this is data from LLMD that had done studies and actually treated people.
Now there is powassan, heartland viruses, that actually are deadly in 15-30% of cases, but there is no treatable way to manage those besides I guess what we all do when we get the usual flu. Use Tylenol to lower fever and boost the immune system.
Right, I don't believe I have the tick-borne viruses, so I don't worry about
those so much.
And, that's why I have put treating viruses kind of on the "back burner" although I do need to keep it under control. I'm also concentrating on immunomodulating herbs and such to get my immune system back up to par. I'm sure that's part of what's been holding me back, as since I've started this, I've been much, much more stable in energy and stamina - although that doesn't say all that much yet!
