Hey everyone, my blood work, as with many who are afflicted with lyme and co's, is for the most part normal. In fact, mine is really within the normal ranges all the time, even if it is on the lower side.
But i'm pale as a dead body. Seriously, i'm very pale, however i didn't think i am, it was said to me by two conventional doctors who don't know about chronic lyme, that i look very pale, which is indicative of low iron or hemoglobin. However, my hemoglobin is within the normal range, although on the lower side of the spectrum.
So i don't have anemia by blood work, but i have by clinical symptoms. Did any of you have this kind of presentation? I never EVER tested positive for Lyme, however i have 1 specific lyme antibody, 23 and the unspecific 41. And i had a microscopy done in europe, where they found corkscrew shaped extracellular bacteria, resembling spirochetes, although they didn't specify what spirochetal bacteria, due to lack of the unspecific method of testing.
I also have some very vague stretch marks, unlike the ones seen on the pictures, and it is more like 1 vague stretch mark, rather than a bunch of them.
I've been staying on treatment with abx, but not long ago stopped because of some herxes, and curcumin didn't seem to stop the inflammation, maybe because the curcumin isn't high quality, dunno, i decided to stop, because i was afraid for my well being. I hope to resume the treatment, but for now, i'm very interested to see the relation between lyme and anemia, which is your body not getting enough oxygen. This is especially important, since i have some form of POTS, when i stand from laying, i have dizziness and my vision becomes very dark, like i'm about to faint, but never actually fainted. I don't know if this is POTS, it is just that people say these resemble POTS, i was never diagnosed with it.
