SickKitty,
I have also had much eye trouble due to bartonella.
My eye symptoms include pressure, pain mostly near the back of the eyes, blurry vision, temporary blackouts lasting a second or two almost like there is delayed communication from my eye to my brain, upside down vision where the sky and ground switch places, spinning vision where everything in my field of vision seems to be turning, floaters, and slow focus where my eyes take a few seconds when switching from near objects to far.
I've been treating Lyme for 8 months now and these symptoms have eased.
I have been able to get temporary relief from these symptoms when they are really bad by taking 1 to 2 tbs of oral liposomal glutathione (maybe you could ask your doctor about trying this remedy yourself?).
Good luck to you, and hang in there!
I definitely be have the pressure and blurring on vision. It's like abfog that can't be lifted.
Today, my eye hurts like pressure, and the vision is like coming and going, or like, this a missing spot in my vision. Luckily, it's only the one eye, I'll be calling my natropath Monday to let them know that I am experiencing this new symptom. I'll ask them what I should do since I'm stick in limbo until my full labs get back.
It stinks that the regular medical field didn't even test, or even try to look for correlating symptoms that I asked about
. While at the hospital....
I actually had to go out of network to find a doctor that would look for the reasons, not just cover up the symptoms.
It would be like someone with strep, being given something just to numb the throat, not kill the bacterium causing it.
Sorry about
my rant.
Thank you everyone for your replies!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one and I have others to look to, to help me be at ease while I'm in limbo.
