im all kinds of extra achy, headachy and sinus bothered today with this storm...i am on an off pulse, so its not a herx...my buddy told him his wife has fibro, and when the barometric pressure drops this much, she is physically affected...and since fibro is likely lyme, im wondering, if others are affected..if its not that, then i have the flu coming on :-/

Yup. Easy coaster here and i feel absolutely terrible! I think the weather definitely affects us

I'm really achy and more than usual psychiat probs. (deja vu, depression, paranoia, lability) I guess Barometric pressure may have an affect...hurting all over actually, it's weird because I look in the mirror and I look fine and healthy but everything just hurts...

Just had Babesia type head pressure last wed, thurs and fri. I haven't had it in a long time so maybe from the storm.

yup i'm more sore because freakin oak tree blew down and fell on my house. destroyed most of my top level roof and part of the second level roof and took down sheetrock and some ceilings in various rooms.

fun watching a 100 year old tree that looks to be invincible just tip off and smash your house all while having a deer in the headlights stance as it occurs.

i can tell you that oxygen and pressure changes will drive the bugs and your immune system reacting a bit crazy. it takes me 4 days to recover from the herx i get when i fly in an airplane.

Baro pressure changes REALLY affect me, and cause huge amounts of pain, brain swelling feeling, heart racing, a lot more. I got a weather station (the kind that has an outdoor sensor and beams info inside) that measures barometric pressure just to better track this, and the barometric changes for me matter more than just about anything else (weather-wise). From what I have read, anything beyond a .3 change from 30 which is the "normal" baro will cause increases in cardiac issues (i.e. more heart attacks reported); and so there are known vascular and other issues that result from baro changes (so, 30.3 or 29.7 would be the point of change: today for example it dropped to around 29.4 in this latest weather "bombing out" aka barometric drop). I know we're already on to the next storm, but. . .

Rikky, wow omg, that sounds terrifying re: the tree. I'm always so afraid of something like that happening. Did the tree ever show "signs" of damage? I know it doesn't necessarily even matter in these kinds of storms.

JustPiccd: The pressure affects me too Im in Western Mass. already 9 inches of wet snow since about 1 pm, pretty darn windy and its still snowing. I am ready for spring.

sorry to hear that too rikki....some of us are just extra lucky....

i STILL havent recovered from that bombo storm 5 days ago...still wicked brain fog and nerve pain in arms and legs....had sinus issue that finally worked itself out today i think...i always rolled me eyes at moon talk, but just had no idea how much barometric affects me...its odd i dont remember it ever happening before, including the bombo storm in january

don't know if it was coincidence but I had chest pressure and tightness during those few days...and some intense joint neck and back pain...
