Lyme testing and herbal treatment

I just got a referral to infectious disease from my primary. My immunoblot was positive with four reactions but not "cdc" positive. I'm wanting to start the buhner protocol now, before I see infectious disease. Does anyone know if that will effect future Lyme tests? My thoughts are that it might help my body make more antibodies so I end up with a cdc positive. Any thoughts on this?
I'm wanting to start before I see them because I'm having a lot of neurological symptoms this week and I'm terrified. I can't just do nothing. I have nerve pain, numbness, tingling, imbalanced when I walk/stumbling, shooting pains in my head, severe memory issues and the fatigue is the worst it's ever been. I lose train of thought in normal conversations. My joint pain is flaring on and off. And my eyes are bothering me.

Sorry to hear of your neurological symptoms.. It's so frightening. From what I've researched I do believe treatment can cause your body to "wake up" and launch an attack which results in making more antibodies. I'm not positive, as I'm new to this lyme world too.

Your symptoms are almost identical to how my journey started in August 2017. Do you feel like you're on a boat trying to walk? Do you have leg weakness at all? Or a feeling of loss of leg coordination? What about vibration feeling in your feet/legs?

Try not to be terrified. I am new to lyme as well... but I feel the power of the mind is huge. We can, and we will get better. I have talked to so many people that have recovered ie remission... It's doable - it's just a long road. But, we have already done the most challenging part - getting properly diagnosed!
