Hello!
I received my results from Arminlab today and i need help to understand. I have never been bitten by a tick. Now i have joint pain, muscle pain, weakness, cant concentrate, eye problems.
Borrelia EliSpot
1 Borrelia b. Full Antigen 1 SI
0-1 = negative
2-3 = weak positive
> 3 = positive
1 Borrelia b. OSP-Mix ! 3 SI
0-1 = negative
2-3 = weak positive
> 3 = positive
1 Borrelia burgdorferi LFA-1 0 SI
0-1 = negative
2-3 = weak positive
> 3 = positive

Seraspot - all negative

Tickplex Plus B.burg. +afz. +gar. IgG : positive 1,064 ratio.
B.burg. +afz. +gar. IgM : negative.
B.burg. +afz. +gar. + round bod. IgG : positive 1,170 ratio.
B.burg. +afz. +gar. + round bod. IgM : negative
+ Positive Ig G Babesia, Bartonella, Riccetsia acari, Parvovirus, Cocscaki.

I just stopped by to say hello, others with more experience will be along to help with your test results.

Keep checking back as some members that are knowledgeable about test results may just not be on at this present time.

There is important information on Lyme, testing, symptoms, detoxing and more.

They say that many people with Lyme dont remember being bit by a tick and many with Lyme do not get the bulls eye rash.

There are other co infections that Ticks and fleas and other bugs carry that can cause symptoms also.

Hi - welcome!

It looks to me that you are positive for Lyme as well as Bart, Babs, Ricettsia and a virus or two.

As Jo mentioned many of us didnt see a tick on us..but they can be so tiny - that you may not see it...or it could be hidden like the back of your knee or belly button.. etc.

I think it would be wise to find a LLMD for an evaluation.

Could you please clarify, does the combination of light-positive EliSpot OSP-Mix, negative Seraspot and positive Tickplex Plus IgG along with observable symptoms indicate possible chronic condition? My doctor doubts that I need treatment...he thinks - rheumatology, but I do not agree...

Yes. what testing have you had that leads your dr. to a rheumatology issue?

I have negative rheumatological tests (3 m ago), but my rheumatologist wants to repeat for Systemic lupus erythematosus and he has thoughts about multiple sclerosis, but I doubt it.

Personally, I wouldn't do a repeat...especially if you have to pay for it.
MS diagnosis means a brain mri.
But, lyme patients can also have the lesions on the brain.

I suggest you find a LLMD and bring your Armin Lab test results...

Today i visited another doc:
1.Metronidozol 1000 10 days (couldnt explain why only 10)
2. on 5 day+Doxy-0,1 Х 2 - 1st week; 0,1 Х 3 - 2nd week; than 0,2 Х 2 - 21 day
3.on 10 day+ Azithromycin 500 3 days, than 1000- 14 days

So is this your schedule:

Start with Flagyl 1000 mg for 10 days.

On Day 5 (after starting Flagyl) you take Doxy 100 mg twice daily for a week, then 100 mg 3 X daily for a week, than 200 mg twice daily for 3 weeks (totaling 5 weeks of doxy)
On Day 10 (after starting Flagyl) you add Azithromycin to the doxy starting with 500 mg for 3 days, then increasing to 1000 mg per day for two weeks.

So, if that's correct, you will be on doxy alone after stopping the azithromycin for a couple more weeks?

That is a good start...but you will need more treatment after that.
(you need to address bartonella and babesia)

For my case, if i choose to proceed with Ceftriaxone intravenously for 28 days (2 g) , what would be the best to add to it- Doxy or Azithro? Has anyone use Ceftriaxone injections? What dosage and for how long?

Flagyl, doxy and azithromycin will treat lyme including cysts. But you should do something for the biofilms.
My LLMD has me take xylitol and lactoferrin for one week every several weeks.

Bartonella and babesia require other meds.

Bart - Rifampin, Rifabutin (Bactrim maybe)

Babesia - anti-malarials : eg. Mepron or Malarone, Coartem, Alinia....

I can't help you with the IV abx. I've not taken them so don't know enough about them
