Hi Friends. I haven’t been on the forum in a long time. Life got so overwhelming and painful with this disease, I had to stop. However, life with Lyme doesn’t stop and you can’t ignore it as much as you try.

I am looking for a experienced LLMD/ND or Functional Dr in the Ohio area. I was diagnosed in Europe and have only been treated here. I am still testing positive after 2.5 years of treatment. I will be moving to Ohio in the US in the summer and I need to start looking now for a new doctor. I am willing to travel. I really need an experienced doc as my case is growing increasingly complicated. I have Lyme and Co’s,Mycoplasma, Chronic Virus, hypothyroid,KPU, aluminum toxicity, 2 failed cavitation surgeries with severe pain/osteomyelitis, Primary Adrenal Insufficiency, unspecified autoimmune disease, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Can anyone help with someone you’ve has success with?

Hi and welcome back but sorry that you are still dealing with Lyme and co.

Since your case is complicated I would consider going to Dr J clinic in Washington D.C.

We have members here that go there and "Girlie" also could give you more first hand information on the clinic. I believe after the first visit they will do telephone or Skype appointments.

You could email here but just give her time to respond since she gets many emails from members here.

You can also email me and I can send you information on Ohio and the full name and contact of the Dr. J clinic.

I too moved from CT to Arizona last Fall. My Lyme practitioner in CT is the one who got me on track after years of this ugly disease. Mine started in 2001. I met him in July 2016. Unfortunately I moved away so I don't see him on a regular basis. I heard about a treatment using magnets. Currently there are only 2 doctors in the US that do this. One is in Idaho (Dr TS) and one in Wisconsin (Dr BE). I will be starting this therapy this summer. Let me know how you make out. I am a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this dreaded illness so don't hesitate to ask questions. God bless.



EDIT: I changed the full names of the Docs to initials only. Any Docs who treat Lyme disease - we protect with only initials mentioned. (unless they are openly advertising they treat lyme...etc...like Dr. Horowitz)

Does Dr J work with herbs as well?

I was recently at Neomed institute and had good results with magnet therapy for my jaw pain. Interesting.

No, Dr. J is primarily antibiotics....with a few non-pharma thrown in.
