Itchy rash during treatment

3wks into treatment for Lyme, bartonella, relapsing fever and ehrlichia. Dr. warned I would probably develop a tiny dot rash during treatment and I underestimated it. The clinic is closed and im itching like I have chicken pox. What works people? I'm going crazy.

Organic virgin coconut oil has worked well for me.

Did your Dr say what the rash is from?

No. She just said 70% of her patients get it and the EM rash freq develops after this. When I google bartonella rash, the tiny dots and pattern look just like it.

Probably a histamine reaction, bartonella is known for that. You could try a little antihistamine and see if it helps. Claritin, xyzal, benadryl is strong but you can take a small amt

What drugs are you taking for treatment? Is it a drug side effect?
