My LLMD recommended that I stop taking abx a couple months ago. I've actually been feeling pretty good not being abx.

However, this past month I had to cover for someone at work, and I had a LOT of stress. Then I had an incident where my house almost caught on fire, and I have anxiety as it is. I had an episode of Lyme anger and I lost it on this guy who was inhaling the smoke. He wouldn't get away from the fire. It's a long story.

Anyway, a couple minutes after I lost my cool on this guy, my heart felt like it had a bad cramp. Similar to a cramp that you'd have in your leg. I wasn't sure if it was a heart attack, or a palpitation or what. In any case, I've been having chest pain in heart area for the past couple of days.

Has anyone else had a symptom like this? Is it a minor heart attack?

My heart has been kind of beating softly ever since the incident, I feel like. And it feels like it's sore.

Raven - please go to the Dr and tell him/her what you’re experiencing - I think you need to get your heart checked out.

Unfortunatly, I don't think I can afford it. The last time I went to the doctor, they charged me 2 thousand dollars to put a tube down my throat for a gastro exam. I'm still paying that off.

Yikes!! I’m so sorry you have to pay that! Would you have to pay much if you just saw a reg doc and just got his opinion - but no procedure?

I would recommend going to get checked, at minimum an EKG and/or halter. preferably an Echo or TEE if you were previously diagnosed with Bartonella and Lyme.

just to rule things out.

I've had similar symptoms since day one. Super painful like someone's tried to squeeze my heart until it pops. I had extensive testing done and nothing but a right bundle branch block which has since resolved. It's been four years and I'm still not dead so... whatever it is is more painful than dangerous. That said Lyme absolutely can cause dangerous heart conditions and any new symptoms like that are better left to a medical professional if at all possible. The only reason I'm sharing my experience is to help ease any worry, but it doesn't mean at all that I'm suggesting it necessarily is benign. It could be, but only a doctor is going to be able to tell you that
