Can someone please review my protocol?

Hi,

My doctor and I changed my protocol to:

Azithromycin + Ceftin + Grapefruit Seed Extract

Is this effective? Does anyone have any recommendations on what else I can do?

I’ve taken Ceftin and Azithromycin together - and I’ve seen it in others’ protocols.

The GSE is being used as a cyst buster.

This will treat Lyme, but not the coinfections Bart and Babs.

Ceftin and Azithromycin are both good lyme drugs. However, if you want recommendations on what else you can do:

1. Add another intracellular antibiotic (i.e. tetracyclines, septra/bactrim, rifampin, fluoroquinolones) to the azithromycin. Dr. H talks highly in regards to using double and even triple intracellular combinations.

2. Substitute a pharmaceutical cyst agent (i.e. tindamax/flagyl) for the GSE.

This all depends on how aggressive you want to be.

By the way, GSE is used to target Babesia. I didn’t know this, and started taking it (Agrisept-L) to fight Candida. Had a huge herx that knocked me back for weeks! Go slllloooooooow with that one!

I've not heard that GSE is being used to target Babesia before. LLND's?

So, your herx was babesia symptoms?

I didn’t know that either, but when I felt so awful, I started researching it more and found a lot of people saying they use it specifically for Babs.

My Babs herxes have been unbearable lately. Only 5 days on two Malarone (should be 4) and I’ve been down for 4 days, off all abx to calm the herx.

I haven’t gone back to using the GSE - my LLMD said please don’t mix antimicrobials without his Rx. I do believe I’ll use it when I’ discontinue abx to ease me into remission.

And you know it's hitting babs and not lyme? As we all know GSE is a cyst buster.

It was some time ago... if I recall, it was Babs symptoms. I’m in the Epsom bath right now so I can’t easily dig up my references. I’ll try to remember to get back to you

When lyme gets threatened - which happens when we treat...it can go into cyst form as a defense.

cyst busters will open up those cysts...so that the medications and immune system can kill the spirochetes.
