It is crazy expensive, but it's to the point for me where I feel like it's time for my "Hail Mary." And this is it.
I also have a spouse with Lyme, but he is not at all as affected as I am. It doesn't seem to bother him much or even daily and I would say I'm like you, around 50-60% most of the time. Sometimes worse, sometimes better.
I don't mind spending the money if it's going to give me significant, life-altering improvement. But it's those uncertainties that worry me. I'm very scared to spend that kind of money and not get better. So I've done what I can and spoken to as many people as I can track down and listened to their experiences.
I wish you luck as you discern what you need to do. I know it's such a difficult decision to know what the right thing is to do. Unfortunately, until we find that silver bullet that cures everyone of Lyme, we just have to keep trying things. If I can be of help, let me know.

Our issue is my husband and I both have lyme.
My husband is for the most part asymptomatic. He has some symptoms but I know if we don’t start treating him soon it will get worse!
So in looking at st Georg Klinik for both of us it will be around $40,000!!! We only have about half of that right now.. so have to give it some time and keep saving! Just to go save our lives!!
It’s truly a crime that America doesn’t help people with Lyme more and there isn’t more funding for research! Ppl think we are crazy wanting to go over to Germany for treatment.. what other options do we have when i’ve tried everything America has to offer?!
