looking4acure - I believe that there are bad people in the world who do really heinous things. As for lyme being weaponized, you have to understand...if that's true, it still remains...you have it and you need to get rid of it. A lot of people don't want to hear that the government is out to get us. It's too scary for them to process. Either way, you have some options here: Fight the powers that be or just get yourself well. I personally don't have the energy to fight the powers that be. OR get yourself well and then fight the powers that be.
As for the massage parlor using a product with an endotoxin, if it's true they used it - you should find out what the ingredients in their products are. Start there. They most likely didn't do it willingly. They probably aren't even aware of what the ingredients are. This is how it works in almost all beauty salons: A representative from Company X walks in one day (unannounced) and asks to show the manager/owner their products. They do a sales pitch and if it sounds good, the salon orders it. Not all salons care what's in their products - they just want to be fancy, use what works, fall prey to a sales pitch, or want to save money. It's not a dastardly plan.
Also: Be aware, there is a lot of contradicting information on the web. It's not all true and it's not all false. I'm sure it falls somewhere in the middle. Either way, you have to keep your stress down with this illness. It doesn't help you to spend hours pouring over the net, getting into arguments online, getting stressed. Stress keeps you sick.
You say you got sick overnight - there is a possibility you were already sick and the massage shook some things loose. Massage is a major form of detoxing and can cause people to come down the flu, become nauseous, headaches, and lots more. It's possible the heavy detox merely gave your body an
opening to let the lyme take a foothold. My
opening was heavy stress of personal family issues and a very stressful move. I was sick for two years before I had recognizable symptoms.
Plenty of people get well from lyme disease. You can get well too. It's a long, grueling process and it's going to take years, but it's not impossible. Even endotoxins can be removed from the body with proper detoxing - that also takes time. Thank you for sharing this information. I know you're just trying to help and some people can't or won't hear it. Don't worry about
them. Listen to your body, stay focused on getting well. Lyme is a scary disease, but you have support here and you're not alone.
