Making own tinctures

Hey everyone a few questions. If I were to make my own tinctures, would I still have to use alchohol? Is making your own tinctures still effective? Would not using alchohol be non effective? Can making your own tinctures be more cost effective than buying them from a supplier? Thanks

Hi, yes making your own tinctures is far less expensive.
It will cost the price of the plant + the alcool.
Usually the tinctures are 1:5.
So if you have one gram or 1 pound of plant, you can make 5 pounds (I think it's = to 5 Floz) of tincture.

With these numbers you can do the math.
