Do other Lyme Literate MDs also charge so much for a consultation?

The clinic I go to charges a little less than that for the initial consult and the follow ups are reduced.

I just got thru calling LLMD all over eastern us.
They seem to range from $750-2,850 for initial appointment.
None take regular insurance and only some will code for out of network insurance reimbursement and others will not code for govt based insurance. Some make you sign that you will not submit for insurance reimbursement.
Most appointments last 1-3 hours compared to 20-30 min for regular doctor first appointment.

Mark iv, what np do you see? I also am in WI. I see a went to a llmd in Ill. I sure they are good but I can already see that I won't have the $ for them. Then again health is wealth. Although most llmds are great and ethical. I am always looking for the ones that prey on the chronically I'll.
