Burning head off and on is this from lyme or babesia?

Not sure. We were just talking about various burning symptoms in the Bartonella treatment post by NicHostetler.

I've never been sure if my burning symptoms were from Lyme, bart, or babs.

Sometimes I get surges of pain in spots on my head that feels like my brain is swelling. Sometimes I have burning scalp and feel like my brain is on fire. Don't know which of the infections causes it, though.

Hi, I am treating for Bart Lyme and Babesia and definitely get the burning scalp whenever I decrease antibiotics. In addition to the burning, I also get an ice pick like headache that is unrelenting. If I wait too long before increasing my antibiotics the burning begins to spread to other areas of my body. I consulted with a ll neurologist and was told it's because I have an active infection. As far as what is causing it, hard to say. Could be Lyme or one of the co infections. All I know is that it goes away when I return to normal dose of amoxicillin, Clarithromycin and atovaquone. Are you treating with antibiotics or herbals and if so which ones?

The ice pick headaches are usually associated with Bart.

No was never told about this or given anything but the two drugs. I looked up Pinella found it on amazon I will give it a try. Seeing I am on antibotics this is okay to use while on antibiotics?? I don't have brain fog I just have that burning in the head. I also get red eyes it is very strange
