Detoxing for head symptoms

Still, my head symptoms seem to be the worst (almost only) symptom. Tingling, burning, numbness, aching, throbbing, foggy, drunk...you name it. It's rare I have a full day of clarity. I used to have constant headaches and since treatment I rarely have the headaches anymore, so it's not necessarily that I am in much pain, but it is still debilitating and makes it hard to focus.

Has anyone found any successful detox methods to manage/improve this symptom?

Have you tried something specifically for the 'head'?

There is Nutramedix Brain/Nerve Cleanse.
I take that combined with the Nutramedix Pinella.

There is also Jernigan's remedy:

I take Burbur Pinella. I have recently started, so I can't say if it is working, but I read a lot of positive reviews and you should consider it.

I take Pinella and Bubur together everyday...whether I'm having a good day or bad day...bad day, I take it more than once.

When I'm herxing...I will do 'rounds' of it until herx subsides.

It has a cumulative effect so it's best to take it (whichever one(s) you choose) daily...

So would that be 20 drops/day? More? I don't want to take to much. Is this herb particularly good for the symptoms I mentioned?

I put 10 drops each of pinella and burbur...in 1/2 glad of water and sip on it...

Burbur - is a general detox.

Pinella - is for the brain and nerves.

Hi, Just wondered if you are on any of the specific herbals that Buhner suggests to target symptoms of NeuroBorreliosis?

No..just antibiotics from Dr. J. I was working with an herbalist in conjunction...but Dr. J's NP said I needed to stop my herbals because it would "muddy the waters" and she didn't know much about them sad

oh ok I just had some of the same symptoms before and that protocol specifically for the Neuro head stuff seems to be working for me. I'm also on antibiotics.
I also was sure to take a espsom salt bath every night and I drink lemon w/water all day. Then I take 2 capsules of milk thistle in P.M.
You might have heard all of this stuff before, but I thought I would post it just in case you didn't.

Since the headaches are going away that is a really good improvement. I hope you see relief from the other symptoms soon. I know they can be so uncomfortable and discouraging to have. My major head symptoms have diminished a lot since September so hang in there. Sincerely, Jo

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. Do you see Dr. J? I sometimes take epsom salt foot baths but I live in an old apartment and don't like to use the tub to take baths. Are footbaths as effective? Also, is milk thistle a problem if you have allergies?

Oh you are so welcome. No, I don't see Dr J. I live in the Massachusetts and see a Dr.C in New York. He is well known for helping people with Lyme and so far I have improved. He doesnt treat with herbals, but understands the benefits from them and knows I am taking them also.
Others here say they use a foot bath with good results. I would post again asking about the Milk Thistle. I haven't had any issues but everyone is different. There are others like Traveler that know much more about it and maybe can offer some insight and help you.

I'm taking some herbs for CNS symptoms - particularly severe CNS /brain involvement, and neural pain.
The two I chose are Greater Celandine and Kudzu.

I'm thinking of ordering Lion's Mane for nerve myelin sheath repair.

Yes , I take them while on antibiotics (not at the same time, though)
