My problems started last August. I woke up and had a headache that would not go away. 2 weeks later the right side of my body started tingling. It got worse and wasn't numb but the very tingly and achy, especially in the joints. But only on the right side of my body, I could literally draw a line down the center of my body and my left side was fine and the right was entirely prickly.
I had an MRI done which showed it wasn't a brain tumor and wasn't MS. It was diagnosed to be a "sinus infection" and I was prescribed antibiotics (which I never take).

They tingling started to go away after a month and I thought I was good, but then it came back and was focused in my right lung. I had an X-ray don't to make sure there wasn't anything going on and there wasn't.

I happened to tell my dentist about this and got sent to an endodontist who determined that I had an infected root canal on my right side. It was treated and I thought I was going to be done with all this.

Its been three months since my root canal was treated and the infection is gone and everything is good... but my entire right side is tingly and numb again.

Not to mention my debilitating fatigue, poor memory, anxiety and depression.


Sorry for the long story!!!! My friend just told me that this could be Lyme and I'm looking for others opinions.

Sounds like the infection is not gone-root canals often harbor infection. see a biological dds who does not do root canals. try to find one with a cavitat ultrasound to screen you.
You may also google dental meridian chart to see if your tooth and symptoms match-

Hi CourtQuestion - welcome

If you want to do a test to find out if you have Lyme disease - you can call the Igenex lab and they will send you a test kit.
Get a Dr to sign the lab req and get a lab to do the blood draw - fedex it to Igenex.
Three weeks your results will be in.

The best bang for your buck is the Lyme WB IgM and IgG for $250.

I'm just at the point where I am trying to rule things out. Its potentially been a brain tumor, MS, a sinus infection, an actual root canal infection. I thought it really was going to be root canal related again, but I was JUST given the all clear so I was hoping to check that box. I'm not 100% checking it off but I also feel like I need to loot at other potentials. I'm ready to feel human again.
