So, I've been on the Borrelogen and Neuro antitox for about 2-2.5 weeks now. My mood is Sooooooo much better, and that's everything! I was having suicidal thoughts 3 weeks ago or so, and now I feel almost normal emotionally. So thanks, Deejavu, for the suggestion of trying the Jenigan protocol. But here's a weird, new symptom, which may or may not be related to the protocol/Lyme.

For the past two days, I feel like I have fuzz in the back of my throat. My tongue is kind of white, but doesn't really look like thrush to me. I think I see raised bumps at the very back of my tongue, which are probably causing this annoying sensation. Any ideas, anyone? Anyone else experienced this?

I do. There is a feeling of something scratching my throat and like something is stuck there. Also white stuff on the tongue.

I had ent stuck a camera in my nose in February - nothing, a gastroenterologist did a gastronedoscopy in October - h.polyori. I read some people here attribute it to possible thyroid problems. But my tsh levels were normal.

I had this feeling back in February and per ent advice started to gargle with salty water, it went away. Now it's back. I don't know what to do.

Most of my symptoms are on the right side of the body. That's where I have a root canal done and a crown. I should probably see my dentist

Not sure what it could be, possibly try(oil pulling) rinsing with organic coconut oil and a drop of tea tree oil mixed in.
check for side effects and contradictions.

Think I might have figured it out. Think I've been taking WAY too much ACV, and it has irritated the taste buds at the back of my tongue. They look enlarged, which I think is causing the irritation at the back of my throat. I was just pouring a dash of ACV into my 3X/day drink, and I think that was way too much. I didn't take any last night or this morning, and the irritation has already eased a bit. I need to measure out my ACV from now on. Does anyone know the recommended daily dose? I wanna say 2 tablespoons per day, max?

I think you are right about the ACV being the culprit. Now if every weird symptom was that easy to solve.

I would still try the coconut oil pulling. You don't have to do it every day. I had a yellow coating on my tongue, and it helped that go away. My tongue looks healthier now.

ACV irritates me. I don't use it except to sprinkle a little on salad.

I have had the two symmetrically located raised bumps on both sides of the back of my tongue at some point. When symmetrical I figure that it likely corresponds to the health of an organ but did not map this out at the time.

You can get ACV tablets at iHerb - that way you can have the benefits of ACV and non of the irritation in your mouth and throat.

Think I will try the coconut oil pull, as the irritation is still there, though lessened. I'm divided two tablespoons of ACV evenly between my thrice-daily drink for today, so we'll see how that goes.

Are/were you taking abx recently?
My irritation went down the throat and feels on the left side by the heart. I guess I should see my pcp again.
