Heparin and Azithromycin

For those who used Heparin to treat Babesia, did you continue Zithromax (azithromycin) despite the warning that azithromycin can increase the effect of Heparin?

we used Atovaquone for babesia while using azith for lyme. we had no problem with that combo

I am using heparin to flush my PICC line 2x per day 5ml per flush and taking zith at the same time. No adverse reactions.

hep has a really short half life and has no killing properties as im aware of it usually porcine derived to thin blood ...unless u have bad thrombocytopenia i wouldnt sweat it ...a nurse thinks it could have some biofilm capabilities idk i did with zith and bvt etcetc
