Thank you for the info WalkingbyFaith! Does the MCP give you alot of fatigue? I am having alot of fatigue and wondering if it's the MCP or just a flare or something. It's not sleepy fatigue, but very, very tired fatigue. I have spent majority of my holiday weekend so far on my sofa because I am so exhausted.
I have added milk thistle to my regimen too to help with detox as I do have the HLA gene for lyme and mold. I am also taking aloe to help move things out as I have a tendency to get constipated.
Currently taking MSM, vitamin C, D3, Turmeric, zinc, milk thistle, aloe and MCP. I have some Nutramedix burbur pinella on hand as well.
I am taking the MCP as I worked in a moldy building for 5 years (been out of it for 2 yrs now) and recently they found some mold in my hvac unit. My doc is just treating it as nobody here does the c4a test that does it correctly and sends to the Jewish hospital that she trusts, she does not trust Labcorp to do it as she said it is important that it be done correctly. I also failed the VCS test. I am to take the MCP for a month then take the VCS test again but man, this fatigue is really hard. I wasn't this fatigued before.
I don't recall having increased fatigue from MCP, but if it's moving toxins like it's supposed to, then it could be. Fatigue hasn't been one of my major symptoms at least not what I understand to be fatigue.
Wow! You sound a lot like me. I have CIRS from mold and have the Lyme and multi susceptible genes. I had mold at home and work.
I'm sorry you have this, but I'm glad to see someone else on the forum with CIRS who knows their HLA-DR type. I just posted a very long post on the subject today, as it has me worrying again.
Best wishes, and please notify us on how things come along with the CIRS reatment. I'm no longer with the doctor who diagnosed me with CIRS, and the doctor I see now doesn't follow Shoemaker and isn't very knowledgable of his work, although she has run the followup labs that I requested.
