If someone is having to take high doses of Magnesium, Vitamin C, Medications, or whatever, then they are merely addressing the SYMPTOMS and not the CAUSE.
There's nothing wrong with symptom relief, of course, but many laxatives are habit-forming. Perhaps not on a psychological level, but more on a physiological level. Also taking large doses of Magnesium might lead to an electrolyte imbalance. So, trying to get to the root of the problem is the best long-term strategy.
Again, for acute symptom relief, something like an Epsom Salt Enema would probably work.
I hesitated to mention this before, but, for anyone who may have actually "tried everything" (as opposed to being hyperbolic), there's always the Salt Water Flush:

I've never done (or, had a need to do) a Salt Water Flush. But, from the accounts I've read from others who have, it works. Allegedly, if you have ANYTHING in your colon, it's coming out!
For the less adventurous, I would try the
Intestinal Formula #1 product I mentioned in my previous post:
/www.herbdoc.com/eliminateNot only have I personally benefited from it, but so has my best friend, who, in turn, has mentioned it to many people. Without exception, thus far, those to whom my friend and I have recommended it have reported success. Individual results will vary, of course.
