Hey guys i have B.henslea and B.Quintana and im trying to find out if Japanese Knotweed in its herbal form will make it through Western Australian customs? If anyone knows that would be great. Cheers

oh sorry - I didn't realize you wanted it in its herbal cut form.


What about 1st Chinese Herbs? Do they have JK?

Australia is listed as one of the countries they do ship to.

We're in the ACT and get our herbs from the following places:

Herbosophy in WA (mainly for powdered JK, Ashwananda, Schizandra berries, Rhodiola)
Mullumbimby Herbals in NSW for tinctures
Tongrentan for cut stephania root (recommended by our local TCM as a good source)
Herbal LymeSolutions - on Etsy -for Alchornea tincture (nowhere else is as cheap)
The local health food store for hawthorn berries

Have also tried:
Bristol Botannicals (Stephania tincture - before we got onto the root from Tongrentan)
Various sources for sida acuta - at the moment, we use the tincture from mullumbimby herbals, but I am not convinced it is as effective as the one from HerbalLymeSolutions. It's a weed in the Top End, so I'd love to find someone who could harvest it for us.

We once ordered some cut JK (from Tongrentan). Just as Buhner warned, it is really, really hard. And in Australia, it is very difficult and expensive to buy 95% alcohol, so we just use the powder from Herbosophy or, when travelling, the tincture from Bristol Botannicals.

Girlie sorry for the confusion i was curious if anyone in Western Australia has had any problems getting JK into the country due to customs

ccc That has been of Tramendous help, please could you elaborate on what you meant when you said you ordered JK from Tongrentan but as Buhner said it was really, really hard. What did you do with the JK you bought from Tongrenate? Was it high quality? Thanks in Advance.
I would rather get JK in its more natural state instead of the Resveratol.
Edit: Did you need a script for Tongrenate orders? If so please elaborate on how you got one
