Does anyone else get afterimages from anything they look at, like looking at trees at a distance and looking elsewhere and seeing a clear outline of what you were looking at. This happens with pretty much anything I look at. And extremely bad afterimages like looking at my phone and closing my eyes and seeing the phone or light burned into my vision forever. Also one more thing, does anyone when they close their eyes always see light, it’s usually blue for me and never ending. There’s so so much more going on with my vision, just thought I’d ask about a couple things hoping I’m not alone and there’s healing that will come. Thanks for any reply and God bless

Yes, I have visual static, after images, tracers 24/7. Aside from the visual disturbances, I don’t have many other symptoms.

I haven't experienced the vision issues that you described. But, I have read posts from other members about them.

Are you currently being treated by a LLMD?

I have the afterimages, and taking antibiotics for bart makes it much worse: I'll see an inverted color image of the object as well as the outline.

Yes I’m being treated now just started two weeks ago. Things are only getting worse for now I Pray things start going the other way very very soon

Does anyone experience extreme eye pain as well? I’ve delt with this sickness 11 months been through everything never could find a diagnosis. An eye surgeon mentioned Lyme and I was bit by a tick two months before I was pretty much bed ridden

Eye pain from light, or a dull ache? I get both, that symptom could be from any of several infections including Lyme.

It’s extreme eye pain, at times feels like someone is taking a lighter to your eyes. I used to wear contacts, eyes never did bother me. It was almost overnight I developed the eye pain and dry eye. I’m new to all this, I’m just hoping I’m on the right track to healing finally is the reason for all the questions. I’ve had mri ct all heart and multiple tests done which came back good thank the Lord, was put in the hospital for evaluation all to no avail. No one once mentioned Lyme until one of the last eye specialists who couldn’t see anything wrong but mentioned it by all the crazy visual and eye symptoms I was having.

Hi and welcome to our forum,

So very sorry you are experiencing these symptoms. I also had a few vision issues , but different than yours.

They have all gone away with continued treatment except for one that happens only if there is shade and sunlight all together on roads when I am driving. Then my vision seems to need time to adjust to the changes.


Since you have begun treatment it is very important to use detoxing methods. Especially since you are having an increase in symptoms.

You could try a warm Epsom salt baths, drinking water with lemon juice daily, dry brushing is another method also.

Binders also can be helpful . Activated charcoal or zeobind help by binding the toxins from the die off of bacteria we get when treating.
