3. I've repeatedly read that our (women's and men's) estrogen usually rises as we age and that we often need to lower it, rather than raise it. This is often out of concern about developing cancer. Has your doctor suggested increasing estrogen?
During perimenopause estrogen will start to drop and continue to drop - resulting in menopause which may result in the following symptoms. (Hot flashes, night sweats , vaginal dryness, bone loss , etc)
The “treatment” is hormone therapy - estrogen and progesterone supplementation.Thank you, Girlie.
Now I see the limitations of my paying $15 to get my OB/GYN certificate from a mail-order catalog. On the other hand, I did have the highest grades in my group - I didn't color outside the lines even once.
You always make me laugh, Dude!
I can attest to the low estrogen levels as mine dropped to almost nil when Lyme hit me. Forced me into menopause.
I won’t elaborate on which symptoms I had.
