Thank you for posting this. I will try to check it out. I went to a friends house this past weekend. I couldn't believe how bad my allergies were. The weird thing is...1- my house is filthy and I have two dogs. 2-her house is less then 5 years old and spotless.

She also has carpeting and drywall. We don't. We also have lots of plants and keep the windows open often. In retrospect I'm super happy we picked an old beatup house. No drywall it is brick and plaster and from everything I've read its got less toxicity...in spite of all the dirt!

I am a summit junkie. Even if the info repeats what I have heard before, I don't retain information well these days so listening gets me back on track.

I listened to and enjoyed both Ashley James and Robyn openshaw (green smoothie girl) yesterday. Never thought closed containers of cleansers, etc. leach chemicals through the container!

Thank you for the feedback. I'm always happy when someone finds any value in the various summits I've posted. I usually download them for posterity, but, as time passes, I find that I'm watching fewer and fewer of them. However, I have them saved, if I need them in the future.

Thus far, the few things of her's that I've watched/read have been unimpressive. It's like a mix of Mike Adams and Alex Jones.

I've not watched the above-cited video, and, based on your feedback, I will pass on it.

I only just found out about this summit and I am sad it was several years ago! Does anyone know if it is coming back?
For those of you who have made changes to your home environment, how long did it take you to consider making changes to help heal? I have done a few things while recovering from mold exposure, but the investment is steep. Did any of you work with a consultant to change your home environment, or is it something that you could learn on your own? Thank you in advance!

Once I understood mold was making me sick (via Shoemaker labs and mycotoxin urine testing), I fled my parents house and went to a relative’s less moldy house.

A year and a half ago, I had to flee that house and move into my car only coming in the house in a hazmat suit and respirator.

Bought a 19 year old house 1.5 years ago. Had mold remediation and removed flooring, popcorn ceiling, appliances and had drywall and insulation replaced under most of the windows. Did the surviving mold Aerosolver Pure fogging and wipedown post remediation. Mold dog detected no remaining mold sources a year ago (post remediation). Had entire ductwork replaced with hard pipe ducts and new HVAC with whole house air purifier filter AND a whole dehumidifier with fresh air intake.

Moved in the house in June. Immediately got worse. By August, I finally got an air purifier. I was sure mold was still in several rooms. Mold dog returned in September and detected mold in living room wall and garage. Still haven’t done more remediation - no $$ left and no one we trust to do the work.

House is increasingly moldy and symptoms are increasingly worse. Changed one of the 3 filters in the air purifier this week, but not much improvement. Suspect air purifier may be contaminated, compounding the problem. Try to use the fresh air intake a lot during winter since outdoor humidity is lower. Can’t really tell any benefit indoors.

It’s not a lost cause. I just happen to live in an area where mold is a way life, and no one gives much thought to environmental toxins or indoor air quality. Mold remediation industry here is not interested in learning how to do proper remediation that could be effective for CIRS/Lyme/MCS clients.
