HELP-ARMIN LAB RESULTS

Hello everyone,

Last year I had a tick bite nearly on 16th of June. After a week I started getting abx and I used different combo of antibiotics. It was kind of like I was treating myself with the help of my family doctor (I live in Turkey and we do not have LLMDs or LLNDs here). (Last year in August I got tested positive for lyme with LTT test but never did tests for co-infections).

This year on the 7th of May I stopped using bicillin injections and all other abx and on 29th of June I stopped using buhner supplements.

Last week I sent my blood samples for lab tests to Armin. I wanted to get tested for coinfections cuz last year I could not find money for coinfection tests and had only LTT test for lyme.

Today I received my results but could not understand anything. Elispots are negative but IGG results are positive. Can anyone help me understand what coinfections do I have??

The result of the CD57+ cell count indicates borderline
chronic immune suppression, which can be caused by Borrelia
burgdorferi or other bacteria like Chlamydia pneumoniae or
Mycoplasma pneumoniae.

Yes, I only used abx for borrelia not coinfections. I guess need to find a doctor in Turkey or Europe closeby to see. This is so tiring and now I feel so frustrated.

Interesting that all the elispot tests came back negative but standard testing was positive. I only did the elispots and they were negative too

Elispot was negative this year and the LTT was positive a year ago. I think that's what happened.

Actually i just read it again, and only testing for lyme was done last year, so elispot coinfection testing was this year?

I was just trying to calm down. Last year I had a Ltt test only for borrelia which came back positive and after using a year of abx now I tested for co-infections.

I am sure that I still have borrelia that's why I didn't eanna waste money to get tested for borrelia.

I like arminlabs but i think their tickplex plus is not good i tested positive for all infections IgG and IgM all virus etc... and then i retested and all became negative except borrellia. I don't know what reactives they use in tickplex... I think elispot is better...

Don't get caught up on what is posting negative, which is positive.


I know with the WB - the IgM just means active infection (not necessarily NEW infection) and IgG is older, but can also be an active one.

I'm not very familiar with the Elispot.

I too was tested recently through Arminlabs and wanted to reach out to you. Our results are strikingly similar with almost all IGG on the Tickplex Plus being positive. I had previously tested negative or inconclusive with IgeneX. I am now waiting to see an LLMD in Ireland. In the meantime, I have become suspicious of false positive test results from Arminlabs. I discovered a documentary broadcasted on Dutch television in October 2017 (archived here in its entirety: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4wmdyj) which allegedly demonstrates how several completely healthy people sent their blood samples to Arminlabs and tested positive for Lyme. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I am concerned and frustrated, especially considering the fact that I tested positive for so many tick born pathogens.

May I ask if you have been able to confirm any of the results with other lab tests? Have you begun treatment for any of the listed co-infections? If so, have you seen any improvement, etc?

I truly hope all is going well for you. It is a real struggle to find the answers we are all looking for. I would be grateful to hear more of your journey.
