I've been having some very odd vision problems.
Not the usual Lyme symptoms.

I am extremely light sensitive and have lost my ability to see different hues of color. Daylight looks white if that makes any sense.
I've been checked over with a fine tooth comb.

Has anyone had anything like this?
Bright days make the visual stuff worse.

It's very disturbing. I've never had this before.

Would you think it's lyme or coinfections? Or maybe something else?

All my doctors are stumped. I really want it to go away.

I was extremely light sensitive right before my diagnosis and before I started abx. It went away for the most part however I seem a bit more sensitive than I used to be. I didn't have the issue with seeing different colors though.

Bright light causes me to get blobs of distortion in my vision similar to a small amoeba, it takes many hours for them to go away. I've had the symptom for decades and it's never been explained. I know that doesn't answer your question, except to confirm that odd visual symptoms do happen.

I too an severely light sensitive wearing sunglasses (rx) all day with a second pair on top if I am outside or driving. I also have to wear them at night if the tv is on. I don't watch much tv but my husband insists on having it on at night so therefore I suffer through with sunglasses. The light increases my headaches and causes floaters all resulting in extreme frustration and irritability. I think this symptom is common with Lyme/co. I have done all necessary tests/imaging to rule out any tumor/cancer/ocular issues - all clear.

@Ticsis>any other symptoms? Because your symptoms described, alone arent indicative of Lyme.

I'm in a relapse caused by a vaccine. Ive got all new symptoms and as I research I think it may be mercury toxicity.
Since no one gets the same symptoms as me I'm thinking that's the case. I've had lyme
for over ten years and this is all new.
Now I'm really scared.

Ticsic, it is not that we don't get the same symptoms as you, we all get many of the same symptoms, just at different stages/levels.

For example, Lyme has made my eyes very sensitive to light, more so when I was first infected. I also had a whole bunch of other symptoms that I don't wish on anyone else.

One of them is that when I go to the bathroom or carry something over 20-30 lbs, my eyesight on both eyes starts to pulse and fade in and out. Talk about scary.

Sometimes when I close my eyes, my vision is covered in bright blue/white specks of light. I have sparkles and flashers. Those are much bigger and brighter. These specks (thousands of them) cover my entire vision.

And due to a vein occlusion, once a month I have to go get a needle injected in the back of my eye. This has been going on for years.

Many of the symptoms above get better once I get Bartonella under control. Maybe your symptoms are caused by Bartonella as well?

I've read that Bartonella can cause hypersensitivity of various kinds - light, sound, smell, etc. I've had various kinds to different degrees. Walking outside without sunglasses typically makes me sneeze and brings on an instant headache. I've had fluctuating vision and floaters. No color issues, though.

I'm guessing there are other things - infections and neurotoxins of any kind have the potetial to cause these type symptoms.
