Collagen peptides giving me herx?

Its weird. A couple days after I start taking them, my bartonella symptoms increase. My brain frog increases, soles of feet hurt a little more, shins hurt. Maybe it strengthenim my immune system. Would the amino acids that buhner reccomend that are in the Collagen have anythimf to do with it?

I don't know. But it does the same thing to me. I'm slowly increasing my dosage. I take it for a few days and quit. I suspect it strengthens the immune system and creates a herx of sorts.

Yep that's what I'm thinking too. I've hexed on wheatgrass capsules too which I think do a little something to the immune system. It does suck . my anxiety increases.

Yeah autospeller is a pain haha. It definetly feels like a herx though!

I can't take collagen. It brings on shingles for me. Same with bone broth. High in arginine. Arginine is in Buhner's bart protocol. He says it can shut down bart. So, yeah, I would think anything high in arginine could cause bart to be upset.

Shut down? Does that mean kill? Do you remember how you got shingles?
