My sleep is horribly disrupted. After some research, I found out I had (central and obstructive mixed) sleep apnea so I have to have a mask and machine; and I also found Trazodone (25-50mg) which according to an expert LLMD can help Lyme sufferers get a certain type of essential sleep. But take this afternoon for instance, I was up all night trying to get work done. I fell sleep from exhaustion watching a show on my computer while laying down in bed; but woke up 3 hours later, panicked and shaken like my body was (is) under attack (from bacteria and co). Tonight I will take a small dose of Trazodone and use the machine.
So you use trazadone as needed and it works? I know some meds have to build up. I’ve tried trazadone once - i think 50 mg and it did nothing for me. I’ve tried ambien too. Crazy how these have no effect on me. On extreme occasions i could take a 1/4 xanax and it would put me out. This no longer works either. And its not due to intolerance since I use maybe 6 total pills a year.
I’m having trouble too, Hoagie. The last month has been rough. Absolutely nothing is working. I’ve tried so much.
