I already posted this but forgot a subject so I don’t know if it got posted. Has anyone had any luck with iv rocephin helping severe eye pain and visual disturbances? I’ve posted so many rookie questions but you’d understand if you knew the run around I’ve had through all this. Thank you for any advice at all

i will delete your other thread so we only have this one going.

IV rocephin can help with lyme...so I think it could help with your eyes - pain and vision.

I don't think rocephin alone would get you to remission though.

It's possible that you have bart causing the issues.

Is there any herbs or supplements you can take for Bart that wouldn’t interfere with the antibiotic that you know of? I know many people have mentioned Bart but even my dr didn’t but I’d try anything specially if it’s not a strong antibiotic or anything.

Japanese knotweed is a good herb for Lyme and Bart.

Sida Acuta, Isatis,Houttuynia - also for bart

I’m trying to remember if Sida or Houttuynia is a cytochrome p450 herb which may affect some abx.
Which antibiotic in particular ?

Bart causes a lot of eye issues with me. Im on Cipro and its sorted most of my visual issues (Cipro is dangerous though, make sure you cover it properly with your doc before considering it) Have you done any other treatment besides the IV in your initial post?
