Hello brothers and sisters,
One of my peeps new to ozone treatment developed an ear infection that he believes was caused by ozone ear insulflation. I am hard pressed to find any similar cases on line. When I search it comes up with ozone as being recommended to treat ear infection but not causing one.
I am guessing that the ozone aggravated the skin and led to it breaking which led to the outer ear infection. I suggested letting it heal and then when he returns to doing it to first wet the ear canal and outer ear with a Q Tip prior to treatment.
I believe the concentration being used was 1/8 LPM but I am in the process of double checking that information to make sure this concentration was not exceeded as that could cause more irritation. I await a reply on this.
I wanted to see if anyone here had a similar experience and what you might suggest is happening and how to remedy it. I want to make sure I am not overlooking anything.
