I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not flagyl kills babasia? I am on flagyl and doxy and I dont know if this is cutting it for the babasia. Ty

Flagyl may have some action against babesia but no way does it get rid of it nor is it a front line treatment. You will need an anti-babesial med or similar herb.

Hi thanks for getting back so quickly...Im really nervous about it so I just took a malrone that I had left over...I think I will start a babasia herb as you suggested to take a break from the malrone..

Cryptolepis is a good herb for babs. Take it with Enula and you have a good herbal pair for fighting babesia.

How do you dose? where do you buy the cryptolepis? I know Enula is nutramedix ..ty

You can get Cryptolepis from some online stores.

I got mine from Woodland Essence (It is one of Buhner's recommended sources)

...There's also Sage Woman Herbs - another Buhner suggested source.

Flagyl is more for killing persisters. At least that's why my really experienced LLMD told me.

Dr J prescribes it two days per month for cysts. I can’t tell if it’s been effective
