You just assembled the longest healed list ive seen so far.
Others have contributed their own healing story around new years and other have assembled lists (but not as long) as you have done around new years as well.
astroman - I'm waiting for you to write up your healing story....so I can add it to the successes.
You have finished treatment now...no active infection and are now concentrating on rebuild/repair, right?Hmm, well.....I guess I call healed nothing less than 100%. That's what I was hoping for.
Yes, symptom wise- I am 90% most days, its been in my signature quite a while as 10% 'ers club (the remaining).
The good: I think better. Am calmer. Physical stronger. Can sleep (but still use supplements to help).
The bad: I'm dealing with autoimmune and low immunology issues which might be life long, so in my case, I don't consider 90% healed as good as it sounds - unless these issues correct themselves.
----------------------------------------------
Edit: dont get me wrong, I think its great that positive stories (even if not 100%) are here and that its rather uplifting for those still in the lyme abyss. My opinion does not need to refect on others as far as "healed" goes. Yes we've has a few post on just what is healed?- its somewhat opinionated.
I have been asked a few times last year "where's your healed post?" I purposely never wrote one. However, I did include a limited summary in my posting "signature" in case some were wondering. I'm still here to learn the more advanced technical things too, as rare as they may be.
People with lyme and autoimmune.......what started first? - we may never know. Autoimmune genes (they exist) are just kindling for an autoimmune response from some health "spark" that flips the gene switch. Lyme AND other things can flip this switch (the spark), so its hard to pinpoint it.
